Bike-a-thon features four start-points with six route options (including a century route) giving you the freedom to ride a short, medium or long distance. Whether you’re a casual rider or an avid cyclist, there’s a ride for you.
This unique ride is fully-supported all along the way. Support includes volunteer mechanics from local bike shops, SAG wagons, fully stocked rest stops, repair & first aid patrols, and also safe return transportation if needed.
At the endpoint, on the beach and boardwalk in Atlantic City NJ, participants will enjoy entertainment, a variety of lunch options, a custom 2017 Bike-a-thon t-shirt, survivor ceremonies and other family fun activities. Special hotel rates will also be offered for anyone who is interested at staying overnight in Atlantic City.
2017 fundraising incentives - TBA
The registration fee per rider is a non-refundable $40 with an additional $100 fundraising minimum, on top of your registration fee for a total of $140.
February 1: Registration Increase - non-refundable $60 with an additional $100 fundraising minimum, on top of your registration fee for a total of $160.
April 1: Registration Increase - non-refundable $80 with an additional $100 fundraising minimum, on top of your registration fee for a total of $180.
June 1: Registration Increase - non-refundable $100 with an additional $100 fundraising minimum, on top of your registration fee for a total of $200 You may also register the day of the ride.
What to Expect
Sunday, June 11th you can start at one of our 4 different start points offering up to 6 different route options. Riders will ride through the scenic back roads of South Jersey ending on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City with the view of the ocean.
The ride will be supported with signage along the entire route. Cue sheets will also be available.Bike-a-thon will be held rain or shine. Be sure to prepare for any type of weather the day for the ride.
We challenge each participant to set a goal of $200. We have many tools to help you succeed and will be here to support you along the way. However, we do require that you commit to raising an additional $100, on top of your registration feel, in order to ride.
All fundraising money, including matching gifts, must be postmarked on or before August 31, 2017 to qualify for awards, prizes and team/individual rankings. To receive your Bike-a-thon bib packet in the mail you must have your registration fee plus your additional $100 fundraising minimum in by May 1st. In order to ride on Sunday, June 11th you also must have you registration fee plus your additional $100 fundraising minimum by the day of the ride.
