The Mount Snow Triathlon has always been a great opportunity for competitors of all ability levels to test their fitness on a sprint distance course in the lovely Green Mountains, but this year is going to be very special because Mount Snow has teamed up with the American Cancer to bring you the Mount Snow Tri For Hope.
All proceeds will benefit the Relay For Life of Windham County, an annual event that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those lost to the disease, and raises money for research, public education, and programs and services that help ease the burden for cancer patients and their loved ones.
Form a team now for this USA Triathlon-sanctioned event! Teams are limited to no more than 3 people. The minimum amount to raise for an individual is $125, a two-person team is $150 and a three-person team is $175.
Whether you are an intermediate triathlete or newcomer to competition, this will be a great event for all because you will be raising money for a fantastic cause. There will be multiple heats separated by age, gender, and fitness.
This beginner friendly tri starts off with a ½ mile swim in Snow Lake, continues with three 4-mile loops and the main base area, and finishes with a 5k run through the Mount Snow property. Approximately 1 mile of the run is on paved road while the finishing 2 are on Mount Snow trails.
