The American Cancer Society's annual Kick-It ride brings together motorcyclists across Fairfield
and Litchfield counties in the fight against cancer. With state and local police escorts, riders will
kick off from Danbury Fair, 7 Backus Dr., in Danbury, and travel 40 miles to Indian Well State
Park at Route 110 in Shelton to raise cancer awareness and funds to support the Society’s
lifesaving cancer research program and patient support services.
Registration at Danbury Fair is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and the ride begins at 10:30 a.m.

Participants may register as an individual driver for $25 or as a passenger for $15.
A minimum of two participants or more may register as a team.
The event includes a picnic at the park from 1:30 to 3 p.m., along with a
performance by The Hollister Thompson Band. All types of motorcycles are welcome.
ATTENTION SURVIVORS: Let us know if you are a cancer survivor and you will receive a
special flag for your motorcyle and T-shirt to wear. Flags are Limited this year.
