American Cancer Society Walk/Run Background

The American Cancer Society Walk/Run is a 3K Walk, 5K Run, or walk for fun and a pledge-based awareness event for everyone, including cancer survivors, families, friends, and the community to celebrate reality that cancer can be beaten. It provides an opportunity for everyone who has been impacted by cancer to come together in positive, upbeat atmosphere.

Since its inception, the Moody County Walk/Run has contributed to the American Cancer Society's success in research, education, advocacy, and service. Because of the efforts of participants like you, we can offer programs and services to cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Because of volunteers and supporters, no one need face this disease alone.
