What is Hope on the Slopes?
Hope on the Slopes is a team and individual skiing and snowboarding event where participants engage in competition with other participants in two categories, with fantastic prizes for the winners:  Dollars Raised for the American Cancer Society and Vertical Feet skied or ridden on the day of the event. 

Fundraising Challenge: Teams must raise an average of $200/team member in order to qualify for top prizes.  Top fundraisers will win prizes ranging from skis, snowboard, season pass, lodging stays and more!

Vertical Feet Challenge: Medals and prizes for the most vertical (most runs) in 3 categories:

With the American Cancer Society Hope on the Slopes, there are several ways you can join the fight against cancer this winter...

• Participate on a Team
  • Form or join a team of 5-15 members
  • Registration is $150/team, and can be waived by event sponsorship
  • NEW THIS YEAR:  Fundraising minimum for inclusion in vertical feet team competition prizes is $200 per member total.  For example, a team of 8 would need to raise at least $1600 to compete for vertical feet prizes. 
• Participate as an Individual
  • Registration fee is $35
  • NEW THIS YEAR:  Fundraising minimum for inclusion in individual vertical feet individual competition prizes is $200
• Become an event sponsor or donor
• Volunteer to be on the planning committee or help on the day of the event
• Make a donation to an event participant

So, strap on your board, click on your skis, and head to the mountain with your friends, co-workers, and family in tow....all to see an end to cancer!

Set your sights high and make every run count this season. This winter, the American Cancer Society challenges you to extend beyond your vertical limits to fund the fight against cancer.
