The United States Military Working Dogs and Their Handlers
They’re coming! Dogs of every shape, size and color will be coming to the American Cancer Society’s 17th Annual Dogswalk Against Cancer on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at New York’s beautiful Bear Mountain Park. Last year there were almost 1,000 dogs and 3,000 people! All for the purpose of celebrating life and fighting human and canine cancers.
The Dogswalk Against Cancer begins with a non-competitive walk around Hessian Lake. There are no maximum or minimum amounts to raise, and those with pledges of $500.00 or more will receive the Golden Bone Award. It’s a chance to make new friends and share memories. Check in is from 8:00am 9:30am.
Every step brings us closer to a cure. Last year the event raised over $100,000.00 of critically needed funds to support research, education and to improve the quality of life for those with cancer.
COME JOIN US FOR A FUN FILLED DAY OF EVENTS….. THERE’S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY!
