Atlantic City Site Map 

The Atlantic City Boardwalk, Beach and Boardwalk Hall are the incredible endpoint destination for, Bridge to the Beach, the 46th Annual American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon!  Atlantic City provides unlimited options for cyclists, volunteers, friends, and family to celebrate the accomplishments of the day.  



Endpoint Vehicle Parking

Various Atlantic City parking garages will provide unlimited space for day of event and overnight parking. Parking costs are estimated to be $5 - $15 per car.

Click here to see an Atlantic City Parking Map, subject to change*. Boardwalk Hall will have a fixed rate of $5 on the day of Bike-a-thon. Parking is first come, first serve. If you have questions about rates and availability, please reach out directly to the property in which you plan to park your vehicle. 




Bicycle Parking

A dedicated secure indoor area at Boardwalk Hall, West Hall, will be provided for bicycle bike rack parking. Volunteers will be monitoring the parking area. All bikes parked in the bicycle parking area must have a bike bib. You MUST show your bib number in order to retrieve your parked bike. 

All bikes should be retrieved no later than 4:00pm.



Bag Pickup

Baggage transportation, to the end point, is available to all riders at each start point.  Bag pickup will be located inside Boardwalk Hall. All bags will be sorted by bib number and will be available for pick up starting at 10:00am. 

Cyclists are limited to one bag no larger than an airplane carry-on. 

Bags can be stored at the pickup area until no later than 4:00pm.



Locker Room and Shower Facilities

The Boardwalk Hall men’s and women’s indoor locker room and shower facilities will be available to cyclists upon completion of the ride.  The facilities are located just a short distance from the bicycle parking and bag pickup area without needing to leave the building. Please note, these are locker rooms and the shower areas are NOT private shower stalls. Please plan accordingly. 



Team Tents and Indoor Open Seating

Team tents will be located on the beach in front of Kennedy Plaza and Boardwalk Hall.  Team tent spaces will be available to rent for teams and their guests. 

Open seating will also be available for cyclists, volunteers, friends and family inside Boardwalk Hall and on the beach.  Limited space is available. 

Beach Rules

  • Atlantic City is a free beach, no beach tags are required. 
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted on the beach.
  • Pets are not permitted on the Atlantic City beach. 
  • Atlantic City Beach Patrol will be located in our area

Drop Off Area

  • If you need to drop off supplies for your team tent or would like to drop off passengers in your vehicle before parking, you may do so at the ramp on Mississippi Avenue. Volunteers will be stationed at the ramp to assist you with bringing supplies to the team tent area. 




  • Complementary lunch options are available inside Boardwalk Hall for cyclist and volunteers provided by the American Cancer Society. Additional options are available for purchase. 
  • "Show your Bib" – Discounts will be available at various eateries on the Boardwalk and in the city for riders and their families. 
  • Catering services will be available for team tents. 
    • **Teams ordering tent space may bring pre-packaged,non-perishable food items, per Atlantic City guidelines. If teams are ordering catered food, team captains are responsible for coordinating all details with the caterer, including making sure that the catered food follows health safety guidelines.**



Overnight Hotel Accommodations 

Group rates will be available for all Bike-a-thon riders, volunteers and their families on Sunday June, 10th. 

-Borgata: $109 for Sunday night (6/10)
Participants can call 609.317.1000 to book their reservation and mention American Cancer Society/Group     GBAMC18. Participants must book by June 1st




Kennedy Plaza will be the hub for all outdoor Bike-a-thon entertainment, including our survivor ceremonies! Bands and DJ’s will be performing throughout the day.  Other entertainment options in Atlantic City include, but are not limited to:

  • Beach- swimming, relaxing, walking etc.
  • Miniature golf at Kennedy Plaza
  • Steel Pier Amusement Park
  • Shopping at Tangier Outlets, The Pier and the Boardwalk
  • Gaming at nearby casinos
  • Many more!



Survivor Ceremony

The tradition of honoring our SURVIVORS at the end point will take place on stage at Kennedy Plaza! All survivors and caregivers are welcomed and will be recognized and honored on stage with a medal. Times are 12:30pm and 2:00pm.



Return Transportation

Click HERE to register! Bus transportation back to your start point is available for $25 until May 31st. June 1st rates increase to $40 per rider.  Return Transportation will be located inside Boardwalk Hall. Philadelphia busses will leave at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.. The New Jersey bus will leave at 2:30 p.m. If you are not able to plan your departure within these time frames, it is advisable to arrange your own transportation or use the public services listed below.

Additional return transportation options include, NJ Transit, located in Atlantic City, approximately 5 blocks from Boardwalk Hall. This option provides flexibility for cyclists with numerous train departures throughout the day. Some train stops include:

  • Hammonton, NJ (approximately 0.5 miles from the Hammonton start point)
  • Ashland or Woodcrest, NJ via transfer to PATCO (each is approximately 2.5 miles from the Cherry Hill start point).
  • Philadelphia, PA 30th Street Station
  • Philadelphia, PA (8th and Market) via transfer to PATCO (approximately 3 blocks from the Philadelphia start point)
