Can $70 really make a difference?  YES!  Here are your dollars at work in the Houston area. $30 provides a cancer patient with transportation to and from the medical facility where one receives life-saving cancer treatment. $50 provides a wig for a cancer patient that has lost one’s hair due to treatments $50 funds a support group session to help cancer patients and their family members understand and cope with cancer $60 provides approximately 20 hours of toll-free access for the American Cancer Society’s National Cancer Information Center.  This center receives 1.2 million calls every year. $100 provides overnight accommodations at a free or reduced rate for cancer patients who must travel to receive treatment $250 provides a mastectomy patient with a fitting and permanent breast prosthesis.
